Ahoy, Maties! This here be Red Rum's Official website. We perform a Comedy and Folk music show with Pirate tunes, Original songs and Traditional Irish & Scottish music at Renaissance Faires, Pubs, Geek/Gaming Conventions, Wine and Beer Festivals, Talk Like a Pirate Day Events, Halloween Festivals, River Cruises, Conventions, Weddings, Corporate Events & Pirate Festivals throughout the MidWest. We are available for new show bookings now!
The impressively costumed Red Rum Band has been bringing their toe-tapping, dancing, stomping folk music to fans in the Mid-West since 2014. This three man strong Indiana band weaves a tale of sea voyages, lost ships, itchy bloomers, drinking mishaps, and comedic high-seas adventures.
The band consists of Members: Adam “Red” Fivush (plays 12-string guitar, bodhran, and the main songwriter/arrangement maker), Andrea “Rum” Fivush (plays 21-string autoharp, concertina, symphony hurdy gurdy, hammered dulcimer) and Tim “Scurvy” Hoke (plays mandola, banjo, tin whistle, fiddle, spoons, jaw harp and anything not nailed down).
Red Rum has recently released Save the Ales, their newest album, which is available for purchase at shows and or by contacting the band here for direct shipping.
Always ready with a jolly comedy and song show about the High Seas, the band has been invited back for performances at Renaissance faires, pirate-themed events, Steampunk, neighborhood markets and local festivals, geek/gaming conventions, wineries, pubs, fans’ private parties and weddings.
